The original pilsner, brewed in Plzeň since 1842 using Saaz hops, Moravian barley and soft local water. Deep golden with a dense white head, it balances rich caramel malt against a distinctive, assertive hop bitterness and a long, clean finish. The benchmark by which all pale lagers are measured.
