Kaiserdom is a family-owned brewery in Bamberg, Franconia, one of Germany's great beer cities, with roots going back to 1718. Its range of traditional German lagers, dark beers and wheat beers is exported widely, with strong demand in Asia and Africa.
Tasting notes
A rich deep dark mocha colour with a dazzling red reflections and crowned by a thick creamy foam. With hints of dark bread and fresh coffee aromas coming from the roasted malt. On the palate a velvety soft malt flavour, balanced out with a very clean, elegant sweetness. The body of this lager is very well-proportioned, starting with a warming effect and progressing to a more fine bitterness which in turn slowly fades calmly and dryly.
