Founded in 1879 by James Fleming on the banks of the River Lour in Speyside, Aberlour is a Pernod Ricard single malt renowned for its double cask maturation in traditional oak and Oloroso sherry casks. A staple of European travel retail and premium on-trade listings.
Tasting notes
Aromas of red apple, toffee and rich fruitcake. Matured in a combination of traditional oak and Oloroso sherry casks, giving a soft, rounded palate of sherried spice, honey and dried fruit with a long, warming finish.
